Our experienced apprentice trainers will teach you everything you need to know to be successful in your day-to-day work. They will guide you on your path to becoming a specialist, engineer, head of department or senior manager. And soon enough, you’ll be a real DOLLian, working independently across all departments, with a clear understanding of how all the different disciplines interconnect. Here at DOLL, you won’t be watching from the sidelines – you’ll be right in the thick of it. You’ll work alongside our dedicated staff, developing and producing the transport solutions of the future in the fields of heavy haulage, timber transport, airfield and defence.

Had enough of theory? Internship. Practical semester. Thesis.

Get to know us better! On your internship.

Whether you apply on your own initiative or as part of your school’s work experience programme (e.g. OB, BORS or BOGY), we offer a one-week internship to help you decide on a career. Expect an exciting peek behind the scenes, a hands-on exploration of the workplace and various small tasks related to your dream apprenticeship.

During the practical semester, you’ll get to put your knowledge into practice.

Not only will you get to watch experienced DOLLians at work, but you’ll also have the chance to try things out for yourself and actively contribute your own ideas. You will work independently on small projects or subprojects from our real work environment and day-to-day business. And of course, you can also count on the support of our experienced engineers and trainers.

We also offer first-year students on technical study courses the opportunity to do a preliminary/basic internship. On these internships, you’ll learn the basics of metalworking at our training workshop and gain insights into our various manufacturing processes.

Your thesis: the grand finale.

Want to crown your studies with a successful thesis based on practical work? We’ll support you in this crucial step – with a range of exciting tasks in various areas of the company. Together with the relevant department, you’ll choose the topic for your own thesis. That means you’ll work on current, real-life projects with us and contribute directly to our daily work with your ideas.
